POP Holdings Group is honoured to be recognised as one of Australia’s fastest growing young companies on the Australian Financial Review’s Fast Starters list for 2022.
This award win reflects POP Holdings’ organic journey of growth from the Australian headquarters in 2018, expanding across Asia, the UK, the EU and the US. POP, which operates through our investments in Fusion (a tech-enabled specialty insurance underwriting agency) and io.insure (an online SME specialty insurance marketplace and underwriting platform), POP Holdings’ purpose is to solve the global SME risk protection gap through the creation of an insurance ecosystem, underpinned by unique data and technology, leading underwriting expertise and partnership distribution.
Killian McDermott and David Rogers, Co-Founders & Executive Partners of POP Holdings, commented: “To be recognised as one of the fastest growing new companies in Australia is a great honour and testament to the many tireless efforts by everyone in our team. This caps a pivotal year for POP with new Fusion and io.insure operations launched in the UK, the EU and the US with the addition of world-class senior hires from the industry across multiple geographies. This allowed POP to leverage our global licensed infrastructure, positioning our Group as the first global M&A MGA and InsurTech platform, creating a unique and the world’s first MGA and Technology Group, ideally positioned to service our partner insurers, brokers, advisors and their small- to mid-sized customers within the M&A and Financial Lines insurance markets.”
